Jesus Who?  SEEKING SAVIOR           	Pastor Bob Chroninger

	Well... Jesus is The Seed of the Woman, The Son of God, The Supernatural One, 
The Baby of Bethlehem,  and there is more. He is The Seeking Savior of the whole world!  
There is scripture telling us to "seek" Him... but unless He First "seeks" us... we have little 
or no desire for Him. 
I.  WHO DOES JESUS SEEK? 
  A. He Seeks The Lonely.. 
    1. Bereaved.. Widow of Nain.. Luke 7:11-15 
    2. Friendless.. 
  B. He Seeks The "Unlovely".. 
    1. Tax Collectors.... 
	- Zacchaeus.. though he was curious... Jesus pointed him out.. 
	- Levi.. Luke 5:27-29 
    2. Lepers..  Simon.. Mt.26:6 
    3. Blind, Halt, Maimed, Poor,  Etc. John 5:3 
    4. Hurting people of all races and locations.. 
  C. He Seeks The Lost.. (in a spiritual sense) 
    1. A person who has no relationship with God.. because of SIN 
	- Like a sheep lost to the shepherd..  Isa.53:6; Luke 15:1-7 
	- Like a coin lost to its owner..  Luke 15:8-10 
	- Like a son lost to his father.. Luke 15:11-24 
    2. A person who is spiritually destitute & alienated from God
	 - Now... 
	- Then... lost to Heaven.. and God's eternal plan.. 
	   - Not extinction... but "ruin"
 ** And... Jesus Is Seeking Today... Seeking YOU ! 
	- To the disheartened He seeks to be our encouragement 
	- To the disowned He seeks to be our Father.. our Brother 
	- To the sad He seeks to be our Joy 
	- To the sorrowing He seeks to be our Comfort 
	- To the Sinner He seeks to be our Forgiver! 
II.  WHY DOES JESUS SEEK? 
  A. Because of His Love for all Mankind.. 
  B. Because of His Plan for Each Person.. 
    1. God is not willing that any should perish.. but repent.. 2Pet.3:9 
    2. God has prepared a place for a Prepared people..  Jn.14:1-3 
    3. God has no "plan B"... we either receive Christ or Reject Christ 
  C. Because of His Justice for Everyone!  Heb.2:2,3 
III.  HOW DOES JESUS SEEK? 
  A. Jesus Seeks by Reproof..  (by the ministry of the Holy Spirit & His Word... the Bible) 
    1. The Reproof of sin..(sin of not believing on Him)  Jn.16:8-11 
    2. The Reproof of Righteousness.. 
    3. The Reproof of Judgment to Come.. 
  B. Jesus Seeks by "Knocking" At Your Door... Rev.3:20 
  C. Jesus Seeks by Sending Others.. 
    1. To Saul He sent Ananias.. Acts 9:8-15 
    2. To Candace's Treasurer He Sent Philip.. Acts 8 
    3. To Cornelius He Sent Peter.. Acts 10 
    4. To YOU.. He has sent.. witnesses, preachers, letters, radio, TV, a spouse, a family member, etc.
 ** What Is Your Excuse For Not Receiving Him In 2000??? 
	- "I'm a pretty good person." 
	- "I don't think I'm a "lost" person." 
	- "I don't need the 'crutch' of religion."

 BUT... YOU DO NEED THE CRUCIFIXION & RESURRECTION OF THE LORD JESUS!! 
    AND... HE IS SEEKING YOU TODAY... HOW WILL YOU RESPOND?
