	Have you ever wondered what the far out future holds?  Perhaps it doesn't 
matter to you... you're living in the "now" and that is all that matters.  But..
do you realize that you are going to be living FOREVER someplace?  And.. your "now"
is going to determine what your future will be!!!! There are two realms of thought...
what John Saw.. and what John Heard.. 
I.  WHAT JOHN SAW.. 
   A. John Saw A New Heaven and A New Earth.. 
    1. There are at least three "destructions" of the earth..
	- The Flood.. and God promised not to do that again.  Gen.6-8
	- The Fire.. elements melt with fervent heat. 2Pet.3:10-14   Isaiah 65:17-20.. and a restoration 
	- The Final.. Rev.21:1 
    2. There are different times.. 
	- The Flood... in the early history of the earth... 
	- The Fire.. perhaps at the beginning of the 1000 year reign. 
	- The Final.. the beginning of the "eternal" state... 
    3. There is ONE Reason.. 
	- Flood.. earth was filled with sin and violence..  Gen.6:11-13 
	- Fire.. earth was filled with the wicked reign of antichrist.. 
	- Final.. earth was defiled by the release of Satan.. Rev.20:7 
  B. John Saw A New Jerusalem.. (the "place" Jesus went to prepare) 
    1. It comes down from God.. the builder and maker.. 
	- Even Abraham looked for a city whose builder and maker is God. Heb.11:10 
    2. It comes down out of heaven... God's heaven... 
	- Beautiful as a bride... absolutely gorgeous! 
	- Described in detail in 21:9-27 
II.  WHAT JOHN HEARD..  A GREAT Voice... vs.3 
  A. The Covenant of God... the tabernacle of God is with men... 
    1. He will dwell with them... this is His eternal desire... 
	- Adam and Eve 
	- The Patriarchs 
	- Tabernacle in the wilderness... His "dwelling" place 
	- Jewish Temple built by Solomon... 
	- Christ.. (God in human flesh) "tabernacled"   John 1:14 
	- Church Age.. Believers' body... the "temple" of the Holy Spirit 1Cor.3:16 
	- Then in the eternal state... Rev.21:3 
    2. He shall claim believers as His people.. 
    3. He will be their God..  (all believers brought together as His own) 
  B. The Comforts of His Presence.. vs.4 
    1. He shall wipe away all tears... (of regrets? of lost opportunities? of eternal separations?) 
    2. There shall be no more death.. some will die during the 1000 yrs. 
    3. There shall be no more sorrow.. 
    4. There shall be no more crying.. 
    5. There shall be no more pain..
 ** A description of a sinless eternity !!  All Things NEW !!! 
  C. The Confidence of These Words... vs.5, 6 
    1. These words are true and faithful... if you can't believe God ??? 
    2. These words are from the Alpha and Omega.. 
  D. The Contrast Between People.. 6,7  (Only two groups.. Believers.. Unbelievers) 
    1. The Believers... 
	- They are the "thirsty" ones.. and "drink" at the RIGHT fountain!! 
	   - John 4:14; 7:37,38 
	   - Jer 2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the
           fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, 
           that can hold no water. (KJV) 
	- Mankind is inherently "thirsty" for God.. but drink at the polluted pools and broken cisterns 
	   of this world 
	- They will drink of the fountain of the water of life freely 
	   - A place of complete satisfaction that lasts forever and ever 
	- They are "overcomers"    eleven times in Rev. alone (victorious) 
	- They shall inherit all things.. 
	- They shall be the "sons of God" 
    2. The Unbelievers... 
	- Their Characteristics... 
	   - They are fearful.. cowardly... Mt.10:32,33 
	   - They are unbelieving..  the condemning sin..  John 8:24 
	   - They are murderers.. caring nothing for the sacredness of life 
	   - They are sexually immoral... caught up in "pornois" 
	   - They are sorcerers... deceived and destroyed by "pharmakia" 
	   - They are idolaters... worshipping "gods" of their own making 
	   - They are liars.. to themselves and others... 
	- Their Calamity... in the Lake of Fire.. the "second death" 
	   - Described in 20:11-15.. the eternal state of the "lost" 

GOD SEES ONLY TWO KINDS OF PEOPLE... BELIEVERS... UNBELIEVERS. 
	WHICH ARE YOU??? 
AT THIS TIME IT IS STILL NOT TOO LATE TO REPENT AND RECEIVE JESUS !!
