OH THE GRACE of JESUS !!             Pastor Bob Chroninger 
Trinity C.U. 11-12-00 P.M.     			John 1:1-18     	 
	WOW! What a statement... Jesus "full of grace and truth."  And then... 
"of His fullness have we all received.."  Grace is usually described as "unmerited
favor".  Grace.. marvelous Grace!! Notice some results of this Grace in a believer's
experience... 

I.  IT IS A GRACE THAT SAVES US.. 
  A. The Bible Says that it is through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that we 
	shall be saved.."  Acts 15:11 
  B. The Bible Says that it is "by grace are you saved.."  Eph.2:5,8 
  C. The Bible Says that "the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to 
	all men,.."  Titus 2:11-13;  3:7 
  D. The Bible Says that it is by His grace that "we are accepted in the beloved."
	Eph.1:6,7 (there is redemption & forgiveness) 
  E. The Bible Says that it is "by His grace that we are justified freely."  Rom.3:24 

II.  IT IS A GRACE THAT SECURES US.. 
  A. Paul and Barnabas "persuaded them to continue in the grace of God." Acts 13:43 
  B. Paul "commended" the Ephesians to "the word of His grace, which is able to build 
	you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified."  Acts 20:32 
  C. Paul told the Romans.. ".. even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal
	life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Ro.5:21 

III.  IT IS A GRACE THAT SENDS US.. 
  A. To Paul it was given to be a "wise masterbuilder" according to the grace of 
	God..  1Cor.3:10 
  B. To Us All we are given grace according to the measure of the "gift" of Christ. 
    1. We have been given "grace whereby we may serve God acceptably." Heb.12:28 
    2. We are to be "good stewards of the grace of God"   1Pet.10 

IV.  IT IS A GRACE THAT IS SUFFICIENT FOR US.. 
  A. He Gives Grace To The Humble.. Jas.4:6 
  B. He Gives Grace to Console and Encourage .. 1Thes.2:16 
    1. It is "everlasting" consolation.. through grace 
    2. It is "good hope".. through grace 
  C. He Gives Grace to Help..  Heb.4:16 
    1. It is "found" at a throne of grace.. 
    2. It is "found" as we come "boldly".. 
  D. He Gives Grace for Every "Weakness"..  2 Cor.12:7-10 
    1. It is a Grace for every "thorn in the flesh" 
	- Even the "messengers of Satan" 
    2. It is a Grace for every "delayed answer".. 
    3. It is a Grace for every "weakness".. 
	- It is "sufficient GRACE" REGARDLESS !! 
	- It makes my strength perfect, even in weakness ! 
	   - Paul took pleasure in his infirmities, reproaches, necessities, persecutions,
	     and in his distress... 
	   - Paul said it was for "Christ's sake".. 
	   - Paul found that when he was weak... he discovered strength!

 OH THE WONDERFUL GRACE of JESUS... 
    SAVING US, SECURING US, SENDING US... AND SUFFICIENT FOR US ALL! 
       DOES HIS GRACE WORK for YOU??
