HOW CAN TRINITY IMPACT GREENFIELD?   	 Pastor Bob Chroninger

	Have you noticed??? All around us.. religious decay.. Family disintegration... Social  destruction.. 
Our world is in an "upside down" condition.  Is there no hope?  Is there no solution? I believe a Growing 
Church and Sunday School is the best means of impacting Greenfield!! 
	There is no "set" way to do this... but you and I who profess to know the Lord must have the right 
perspective... 
I.  TRINITY MUST HAVE A BIBLICAL VIEW of OUR PURPOSE.. 
  A. What Does This Mean? 
    1. C.U. Leadership... "Our purpose is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by developing churches 
	and ministries committed to evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship at home and abroad." 
    2. Pastor Mike shared the elements of a Purpose Driven Church.. 
	- Worship, Fellowship, Evangelism, Discipleship, and Ministry 
    3. Trinity is a part of the "Body of Christ"  Eph.4:11-16 
    4. Trinity is to be "submissive" to Christ as the Head.. 
	- What would Christ do if He were your pastor?   (How would you respond to Him?)
     5. Trinity is to be involved in Total Evangelism by the Total Body   (Using our "giftedness")
  B. How Can This Be?    "Look on the fields.."  Jn.4:35,36 
    1. We must develop the sensitivity to SEE the PURPOSE Christ has for Trinity Church and 
	Sunday School... LOOK! 
    2. We must develop the sensitivity to SEE the POSSIBILITIES Christ has given to Trinity...  
	THEY ARE WHITE UNTO HARVEST! 
II.  TRINITY MUST POSSESS A GROWTH PHILOSOPHY.. 
  A. Our Philosophy Must Be Positive.. (it creates the "atmosphere") 
    1. We must believe God WANTS Trinity Church and Sunday School to Grow 
    2. We Must believe Trinity Church and Sunday School CAN GROW. 
    3. We Must believe and WANT Trinity Church and Sunday School to Grow 
	- Are we ready for "babies"??  Or do we want everything to be quiet and peaceful?? 
	- Do we really want "new" people to come, be saved, bring new ideas, etc. 
	- Are we willing to spend the money to accomplish the goals?? 
  B. Our Philosophy Must Be Progressive.. 
    1. Leaders must Lead the way... "Everything rises and falls on leadership." 
    2. Leaders must be willing to pay the "Price".. 
	- "Leaders" are pastors, elders, Board members, Teachers, etc. 
	- To make changes... to provide funds... to be visionary.. 
III.  TRINITY MUST APPLY GROWTH PRINCIPLES & PRACTICES.. 
  A. The Prayer... (About Trinity and For Trinity To GROW..) 
    1. A brief survey of Acts reveals.. 20 + specific instances... 
	- Prayer is a recurring theme all through the book of Acts.  (In relation to all that happens)
  B. The Power... "they were all filled with the Holy Spirit" 
    1. To be "filled" is to be under His CONTROL.. 
    2. To be "filled" is to understand the Lordship of Christ 
	- Witnessing and Evangelism flow from the abundant life in Christ Col.1:15-18; 27-29 
	- It is an "ongoing" experience in Acts... 2:4; 4:8; 4:31; 9:17; 13:9, 52 
  C. The Practice...  2:42.. 
    1. Evaluate... Ps.139:23,24; 2Cor.13:5.. Examine yourselves... 
    2. Set Goals...  Respond to "needs"... both felt and real 
    3. Plan Strategy... What steps will we take to achieve the goals.. 
    4. Work for Growth... You see a lot of "perspiration" in Acts!! 
  D. The Persistence... "they continued steadfastly..." Acts 2:42 
    1. A "bulldog" tenacity for the Lord! ... (Follow up on Absentees)
    2. A determination to Obey God rather than men!! ... (Standing for Sound Doctrine & Behavior)
    3. A "stick-to-it-iveness" ... (If possible, Don't let anyone "fall through the cracks")
    4. A willingness to "keep on farming" ... (Finding New Prospcets)
ARE WE (TRINITY) READY??  
	DO WE HAVE CHURCH GROWTH "EYES" "EARS" AND "HANDS" ?? 
LET'S MAKE THE ADJUSTMENTS BEFORE GOD... NOW !!
