THE VIALS of GOD'S WRATH           	Pastor Bob Chroninger 
Trinity C.U.  6-4-00 P.M.      		Revelation 16    			 
	Chapter 15 was an introduction to this one.  These "bowls" are filled with the "wrath" of 
God... and are about to be poured out during the last one half of the Tribulation period.  Jesus
called it the "Great Tribulation" such as has never been nor shall ever be after...  Mt.24:21. 
True believers will be "raptured" before Daniel's 70th week begins... but there will be believers
during this time.  
	ARE YOU READY FOR THE LORD'S RETURN ???  Now is the Time !!  (2Cor.6:1,2) 
I.  THE ORDER..  1 
  A. It Came From a "Great Voice" 
  B. It Came Out of The Temple 
  C. It Came To The Seven Angels.. dressed in priestly fashion 
  D. It Came As Judgment Upon The Earth and Its Inhabitants 
II.  THE OBEDIENCE..  2 
   - The angels seem to be reluctant.. but "Thy will be done on earth.." 
   - These events are different from the Trumpets in chapter 8! 
  A. The First Angel.. 2.. Poured out the contents... on the earth 
    1. Resulted in a noisome, grievous sore... (boils of Egypt plague) 
	- Upon the men (anthropos) = mankind 
	- Those who had taken the "mark of the Beast"  (13:15,16)
	- Those who had worshipped his image..(icon) 
  B. The Second Angel.. 3.. Poured out the contents... on the sea 
    1. Resulted in a "bloody sea"..  as the blood of a dead man.. 
    2. Resulted in the death of all sea creatures.. 
	- Talk about animals becoming extinct!! (as they have in the past) 
	- What potential for unbearable stench and disease.. 
  C. The Third Angel..  4.. Poured out the contents.. on the rivers & fountains... 
    1. Resulted in fresh water turning to blood...
 ** OBSERVATIONS... 5,6,7 
	- The "Angel of the Waters" declares... 
	   - You are righteous Oh Lord.. the eternal One.. the Judge! 
	   - They deserve what they receive.. 6 
	- The "Angel of the Altar".. (an "amen" to the above..)
	    - Your judgments are "true and righteous".. Lord God Almighty! 
  D. The Fourth Angel..  8,9.. Poured out the contents.. on the sun 
    1. Resulted in terrible scorching heat upon men.. (mankind) 
	- People were scorched with great heat.. (ever have a bad sun burn?) 
	- People blasphemed the name of God.. cursed God 
	   - They do recognize that the judgments are from God. Mal.4:1,2 
	- People would not repent & glorify the Lord God..
	   - They had already sealed their doom by taking the "mark" 
  E. The Fifth Angel.. 10,11.. Poured out the contents.. on the seat of the Beast..  Rev.2:13 Pergamos.. 
    1. Resulted in... 
	- There was darkness in his kingdom.. (Amos 5:8; Nahum 1:6-8; Zeph.1:15-18) 
	- There was intense pain.. people gnawed their tongues..!! 
	- There was great blasphemy of the God of Heaven.. blamed God.. 
	- There was no repentance of their deeds.. no sorrow 
  E. The Sixth Angel..  12... Poured out the contents.. on the Euphrates River 
    1. Results..  this is different.. 
	- The river is dried up... 
	- The kings of the east have easy access...
 ** OBSERVATIONS...  13-16 
	- About the "Deceivers" 
	   - There are three of them.. from the Satanic trinity.. unclean 
	   - They appear to be like frogs..  out of their mouths.. 
	   - They are unclean, evil demons.. 14 
		- To work miracles (signs) of deceit.. 13:13,14
		- To the "kings" of the whole world.. 
		- To gather them to the battle of that great day of God.. vs.16 
	- About the Declarations..  15,16 
	   - The kings and people of the earth won't know what's happening 
		- Even though it is all foretold here! 
	  	- "Behold, I come as a thief.." 
	   - The living believers.. encouraged and instructed.. 15 
		- "Blessed is he that watches and keeps.. 
	   - The Lord will gather them to Armageddon.. (this is it!) 
III.  THE OBJECTIVE.. 
  A. The Seventh Angel..  17.. Poured out the contents.. into the air 
    1. The Destruction of Evil by The Wrath of God.. 
	- There was a Great Voice.. 
	   - It was "out" of the temple.. in heaven.. 
	   - It was "from" the throne.. of god
	   - It was declaring the truth... "It Is Done!" 
	- There was a Great "Storm"..  voices of thunder and lightnings 
	- There was a Great Earthquake.. nothing like it ever!  19 
	   - Divides the great city (Babylon).. & destroys cities of the world.. 
	   - Islands and mountains vanish.. a renovation of the earth! 
	- There was Great Hail..  21.. 80 to 125 pounds! (14:19,20) 
    2. The Deliverance of Tribulation Saints.. and Restoration of Israel by The Will of God.. 
	- There will be those who have trusted Christ.. and somehow escaped the clutches of 
	   the Antichrist. 
	- There will be the recognition of Messiah by Israel.  
		Zech.12:1-14:21
		- 12:3.. people of the earth gathered against Jerusalem
		- 12:8.. the Lord shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem
		- 12:10.. they shall look upon me whom they have pierced..
		- 13:7-9.. two thirds will be slain.. one third brought through the fire..
		- 13:9.. they shall call on my name, and I will hear them
		- 14:2.. I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle..
		- 14:3.. the Lord will fight against those nations
		- 14:4.. His feet shall stand upon the mount of Olives..
		- 14:16.. the Kingdom will be established

NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME... TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.. 
   BELIEVE HIM AND RECEIVE HIM NOW... TODAY.. AS LORD AND SAVIOR
