PREPARING for THE PLAGUES          	 Pastor Bob Chroninger 
Trinity C.U.  5-28-00  A.M.   		Revelation 15:1-8     		 
	Our study of Revelation has taken us from the beginning of Daniel's 70th week to the last
 half of it.  The False Messiah along with his 10 "kings" has destroyed the false church (ch.17)
 and has set himself up as god.  The False Prophet has deceived the people into creating an image
 and then requiring everyone to worship the "Beast" and his image.  A mark is imposed upon everyone
 to enable them to buy and sell. We have already seen the preview of the "harvest of the earth". 
	And now in chapter 15 there is preparation for the 7 "last plagues".  An introduction to the
 "Great Tribulation"... Mt.24:15-21 
I.  THE "SIGN" 
  A. This is the Third Sign..  2 revealed in ch.12 (Woman; Red Dragon) 
  B. This is in heaven.. 
    1. It is "great and marvelous" 
    2. It is a revelation of the final act of God's judgment 
II.  THE "SEVEN" 
  A. The Seven Angels.. 
    1. Their "Dress"..  vs.6 pure white linen, golden belt.. 
    2. Their "Ministries".. messages.. deliverance.. protection.. - Here it is delivering the 
       "plagues of judgment".. 
  B. The Seven Last Plagues.. (separate from the Seals and Trumpets) 
    1. These will be universal in scope.. 
    2. These will be "aimed" at those with the mark of the Beast.. 16:2 - 
	- But all the living will be involved.. except Israel  12:6 - 
	- Will break the stubborn will of Israel.. Joel 3; Zech.12-14 
    3. These will focus on the Anti-Christ & his kingdom.. 16:10, 19 - Notice 19:11-21 
    4. These will "fill up" the wrath of God.. or complete it.. Jn.19:30 - Look at vs. 1, 7 
III.  THE "SEA" 2 
  A. The Sea.. of glass.. mingled with fire.. trials of Tribulation Martyrs 
    1. They had won the victory.. - Over the Beast, his image, his mark, his number !!!
	- How? (12:11) By the Blood of the Lamb; By their testimony; By their yieldedness.. even to death 
    2. They are Standing.. on the sea... in His Presence... - With harps of God... and Songs.. 
IV.  THE SONGS.. 3,4 
  A. The Resource for Their Songs.... 
    1. The Song of Moses... (Ex.15:1-21) Victory.. out of Satan's grip 
    2. The Song of The Lamb.. Praise... into eternal redemption 
  B. The Reasons for Their Songs 
    1. Of course, their Victory and Reward.. 
    2. Of course, their Awesome God... 
	- Great and Marvelous are Your works.. Lord God Almighty... - All that is about to happen... 
	- Just and True are Your ways.. King of Saints.. - All that takes place is pure Justice & 
        absolute Truth !! ** Moses' God is Our God... is Their God... Jesus The Christ !!
	- Creator, Just, Worthy of Worship, Holy, Omnipotent 
  C. The Response of Their Songs.. 
    1. Who shall not fear You? 
    2. Who shall not glorify Your Name? 
    3. Why? You ask.  You are Holy! All shall worship You! All Your judgments are revealed! 
V.  THE SMOKE.. 5,8 
  A. The "Temple" Filled With Smoke.. (in Heaven) 
    1. From the Glory of God.. 
    2. From the Power of God..  (remember the Lord's prayer...) 
  B. The Temple Was "Off Limits".. 
    1. No man able to enter.. no worship.. - He will not deal with men in mercy.. at this time 
    2. Until the 7 last plagues are fulfilled.. completed.. finished! 
 ** The reminder of vs.5.. it was opened... then shut.. would be very familiar to the Jews... Ex.40:34,35 

WOW.. WHAT A SCENE.. WHEN THIS JUDGMENT IS COMPLETE.. CHRIST WILL COME (Revelation); JEWS WILL 
ACCEPT HIM (Zech.12:10); HIS KINGDOM WILL BE ESTABLISHED ON EARTH; & HE WILL SHOW HIMSELF TO 
BE LORD OF Lords & KING OF Kings.  TO GOD BE THE GLORY !
