THE ANGEL WITH THE GOSPEL          	Pastor Bob Chroninger 
Trinity C.U.  3-12-00 A.M.  		Revelation 14:6,7   		
	This is the scene between the 7th Trumpet and the 1st Vial of the wrath of God.  A number 
of events are pictured in the middle of the Tribulation.  Just before the 7th Trumpet, we were 
introduced to the Two Witnesses who were killed and then resurrected. (11:1-14)  Then the 7th 
Trumpet.. and John saw the coronation of the King (11:15-19) but it was a preview of the end of
 the Tribulation.  Chapter 12 gave us the picture of the Woman (Israel), the War in Heaven, and
 the Winners.. those who overcame the Devil (12:10-12).  Chapter 13 introduced us to the two 
"beasts"... the Antichrist and his False Prophet (they are on the scene at the beginning..)  
Near the middle of the Tribulation the First Beast (Antichrist) receives a fatal wound.. is 
"healed" and probably indwelt by Satan himself. The Second Beast deceives the populace.. has 
them produce an image to which he gives "life".. then the mark of the Beast is required.  
Chapter 14:1-5 brightens the scene with the 144,000 having finished their purpose and at the 
end... with Christ! 
	Now John sees several angels with powerful messages (three here) to the world of that 
day... (good for us too!) 
I.  THE MESSENGER... 
  A. He Is An Angel... 
    1. They are "ministers" of God..  Heb.1:7,14 2. They are "messengers" of God..
	- God is forever diligent in seeking to save that which is lost in every dispensation 
	- God's Word cannot be stopped... even if every earthly witness is.. 
  B. During the "Church Age".. Believers are His "Ambassadors" 2Cor.5:20 
II.  THE MINISTRY... 
  A. He Is Flying Around the World.. 
  B. He Ministers to the Earth Dwellers.. 
    1. It is at the Mid Trib period... the conflict is raging between God's goodness and Antichrist's evil 
    2. It reaches everyone...  nation, kindred, language, person..
 ** God has always warned people before judgment... Noah, Jonah, etc. 
III.  THE MESSAGE... 
  A. What It Is..  "The Everlasting Gospel".. Gal.1:8,9 (Only One!) 
    1. "Fear God".. instead of the false god.. 
    2. "Glorify God".. instead of the false god.. 
    3. "Worship God".. instead of the false god..   Rom.1:18-32
 ** That God Loves you and has a plan for your life.. 
       That sin separates and we can't know God or His plan for us 
       That God bridged the chasm between us by the Lord Jesus Christ 
       That now our sins can be forgiven.. the "new birth"... Jn.3:3,7 
  B. How It Is.. The angel is the preacher.. and a Loud One! Like thunder from the sky! 
  C. Why It Is..  There is still a choice to be made, last one perhaps! 
    1. The hour of judgment has come.. it will not be put off forever! 
    2. It is God's Last Call.. Last Offer.. 
	- He is the Creator God... and longs for His creatures to come to repentance and faith!
 ** As Easy As A B C... but it cost Jesus His Life... 
	Acknowledge our sin.. willing to repent 
	Believe the Lord Jesus and Receive Him as Lord and Savior 
	Confess Him as our Lord... with our mouths.. 

WELL.. THIS TIME HAS NOT YET COME.. YOU STILL LISTEN TO HUMAN PREACHERS! 
	BUT THE MESSAGE IS JUST A POTENT TODAY AS IT WILL BE THEN... 
AND YOU HAVE A BETTER OPPORTUNITY NOW TO TURN TO CHRIST AS LORD & SAVIOR.
