THE FOUR HORSEMEN  II              Pastor Bob Chroninger 
Trinity C.U.  11-14-99  P.M.  		 Rev.6:3-8      		
	The events of this apocalyptic scene develop rapidly as the next three seals are 
opened by the Heavenly Worthy One.  And.. Oh what judgments follow in the wake of this 
"antichrist". 
I. THE SECOND SEAL IS OPENED.. 6:3,4 
  A. John Sees A Red Horse.. and Rider... (fiery red) 
  B. John Sees The Results.. 
    1. Authority was given to "him".. 
    2. He will remove peace worldwide
	- As a result.. "they will kill each other" 
    3. He will be given a "great sword" 
 ** As the Antichrist takes over... some nations will resist.. and a widespread bloody war will 
ensue.. Men don't really want peace! Wars and rumors of wars have been on the menu since 
the beginning and will continue until the "battle of Armageddon." 
II.  THE THIRD SEAL IS OPENED.. 6:5,6 
  A. John Sees A Black Horse.. and Rider.. holding a pair of scales 
  B. John Sees The Results.. 
    1. A measure of wheat for a "penny".. a day's labor for mere existence 
	- famine in the wake of world wide war - crops devastated.. fields ruined..
	   (Viet Nam.. all the land mines, maimed men, women, and children.) 
	- processing plants destroyed.. reserves used up.. 
    2. But the wealthy... "do not damage the oil & the wine" 
 ** Have you seen the masses of people in Africa, the forlorn in Bosnia; the dispersed of Kosovo; 
     the women and children.. sold as slaves.. 
	- more than half the world's population goes to bed hungry. 
	- While we sit down to dinner... 400 people will starve to death. 
   But.. The Worst Is Yet To Come !! 
III.  THE FOURTH SEAL IS OPENED..  6:6,8 
  A. John Sees A Pale Horse and the rider named "Death".. Hades followed 
    1. Death claims the body.. Hades claims the soul 
  B. John Sees The Results.. 
    1. War and famine invariably give rise to pestilence... 
	- The creation of "wonder drugs" has not wiped out disease.. 
	- The creation of biological warfare.. increases the disaster.. 
	- The creation of super bombs.. exotic poisons, etc... 
    2. Hades followed close behind.. 
	- Together they have power (given to them) over 1/4 of the earth 
	- They can kill with the sword 
	- They can kill with hunger 
	- They can kill with death 
	- They can kill with beasts.. 
 ** That's 1,500,000,000... at the current population numbers 
IF YOU ARE LEFT BEHIND WHEN JESUS COMES IN THE AIR... YOU CAN BE SAVED... 
  BUT.. YOU WILL FACE UNTOLD, INDESCRIBABLE HORROR!!
