	Valentines, hearts, cupids, candy, parties, flowers, cards and other things... all seek to 
say to someone dear... "I Love You." And.. Love under the direction of God's plan IS GREAT ! 
Today the message is about one Big aspect of Love... Love for the Lord Jesus Christ... Do You
 Love Jesus? 
I.  THE COMMANDS TO LOVE GOD..  (Remember.. Jesus IS GOD!) 
  A. The Ten Commandments.. Ex.20:6.. a brief reference 
  B. The Instructions of Moses..  Deut.6:3-6 
    1. The Lord God is One.. Love Him with all your heart.. 
    2. And teach these things diligently to your children  vs.7 
  C. The Requirement of the Lord.. Deut.10:12,13 
    1. To "fear" God, walk in His ways, love Him with all your heart.. 
    2. To keep the commandments... 
  D. The Question to Jesus..  Mt.22:34-40.. "What is the greatest...?" 
    1. Jesus said.. "love the Lord..." is the first thing 
    2. Jesus said.. "love your neighbor.." is the second 
    3. Jesus said.. "upon these two hang all the law and prophets.." 
II.  THE REASONS TO LOVE GOD..  (Remember.. Jesus IS GOD!) 
  A. He has told us to do so... it is our "duty" 
  B. He first loved us.. 1Jn.4:19 
    1. Jesus loved His own unto the end...  Jn.13:1 
    2. Jesus loves you as the Father loves Him..  Jn.15:9 
    3. Jesus loves you so much He laid down His life for you..  Jn.15:13 
	- He died for ungodly and sinners...  Ro.5:8 
	- He manifests His love.. so we can perceive it..  1Jn.3:16 
    4. Jesus loves you with a "saving" love.. 1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath 
	bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth 
	us not, because it knew him not. (KJV) 
    5. Jesus loves you with an inseparable love..  Ro.8:35 
  C. He preserves the faithful... so we should love Him..  Ps.31:23
 ** SO.. We should Love Him.. He first loved us.. gave Himself to redeem us.. and someday present
	 us "faultless"..(Jude 1:24).. and He will Keep Us until then... 1Pet.1:5 
III.  THE MEANING OF LOVING GOD..  (Remember.. Jesus IS GOD!)
 ** Let us not love in word,.. but in deed and in truth!  1Jn.3:18
 ** Jesus explains in John 14 and Luke 7:36-50 
  A. "If you love me.. Keep My commandments"  Jn.14:15 
    1. To Love God and Love one another.. Jn.13:34,35; Jn.15:12,17 
	- You can't love God if you can't love one another..  1Jn.4:20,21 
    2. To love the "lost" ones..  Mt.28:18-20.. "while you are going.." 
  B. "If Keep My Commandments... You are the ones who love Me! 
    1. You have My Commandments and keep them.. you love Me... Jn.14:21 
    2. You love Me?... You will keep My words... Jn.14:23 
    3. You don't love Me.. you don't keep My sayings.. Jn.14:24 
  C.  If You Love... You Believe... If You Believe... You Love.. Lu.7:36-50 
    1. She Believed in Jesus... 
    2. She Received Great Forgiveness.. 
    3. She Revealed Great Love.... 
IV.  THE WAY TO BEGIN TO LOVE GOD..  (Remember Jesus IS GOD!) 
  A. Take A Look At Yourself.. 
    1. Your sin, defeat, frustration, evil filled heart.. "unlovely" 
    2. You are really LOVED BY JESUS !!! 
  B. Take A Look At Himself.. 
    1. The virgin born, sinless, God in human flesh..  1Tim.3:16 
    2. The Matchless Love... Sinless Sacrifice... Glorious Resurrection.. Ro.1:4 
  C. Take A Look (Listen) At His Invitation.. 
   1. "Come unto Me all ye that labor..."   Mt.11:28 
    2. "Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.."  Jn.6:37 
    3. "You will not come unto Me that you might have life.."  Jn.5:39,40 

JESUS SAID.. FROM THE CROSS... "I LOVE YOU.. AND WILL FORGIVE YOU..." 
	WILL YOU LOVE HIM... AND FOLLOW HIM ??    DO IT NOW !!
