	What a delightful "journey" discovering the Names of God! Jehovah-Jireh.. 
He Provides; Jehovah-Rapha.. He Heals; Jehovah-Nissi.. He is our Banner; Jehovah-Shalom.. 
He is our Peace; Jehovah-Raah.. He is our Shepherd; Jehovah-Tsidkenu.. He is our Righteousness; 
and now.. Jehovah-Shammah.. He is There !!! The last chapters of Ezekiel spell out the promises
of God to the "beaten" people of Israel. Chapters 40-48 deal with the vision of the New Jerusalem
and the time of Christ's earthly domain. 	This name surely signifies His abiding presence 
with His people in every age.... 

I.  GOD HAS PLANS for HIS PRESENCE WITH HIS PEOPLE...    (Past, Present, Future)
  A. He met with Adam and Eve in the cool of the evening.. Gen.3:8 
  B. He communed with Noah... Gen.6:8;13.. and many others... 
  C. He was present in the pillar of fire and cloud.. Ex.13:21 
  D. He dwelt in the Tabernacle.. and the Temple.. Ex.29:43,45; 40:34; 2Chron.5:13,14 
  E. He dwelt among them in the person of Jesus.. Jn.1:14 
  F. He Dwells IN Every True Believer since Pentecost.. Jn.14:17; Acts 2 
  G. He will dwell in Our Midst in the Millennium.. Rev.7:17.. etc.
 ** Look At These Promises... 
    Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy 
                 right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (KJV) 
    Zech 2:10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the 
              midst of thee, saith the LORD.
    Matt 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (KJV) 
    Matt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am
               with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV) 
II.  GOD PUTS SOME "CONDITIONS" on HIS PRESENCE WITH HIS PEOPLE.. 
  A. He Requires  a Contrite and Humble spirit 
    Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; 
        I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to
        revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (KJV) 
  B. He Requires an Obedient and Loving spirit..
    John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father
        will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. (KJV) 
    1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know 
        that he	abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. (KJV) 
  C. He Requires a Repaired and Peaceful spirit.. 
    2 Cor 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace;
        and the God of love and peace shall be with you. (KJV) 
III.  GOD HAS WONDERFUL PURPOSES for HIS PRESENCE WITH HIS PEOPLE..   (Now And Forever)
  A. Comfort in the Pilgrimage of Life..
    Gen 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will 
        bring thee againinto this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have 
        spoken to thee of. (KJV) 
  B. Rest on The Way.. 
    Exodus 33:14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. (KJV) 
  C. Courage In The Battles..
    Deut 20:1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and 
        a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought
        thee up out of the land of Egypt. 
  E. Help In the Trials.. 
    Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they 
        shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither 
        shall the flame kindle upon thee. (KJV) 
  F. Hope For the Future.. 
    Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, 
        and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, 
        and be their God. (KJV)
    Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither 
        sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (KJV)
