Trinity Christian Union Church - 1200 N. Washington St. Greenfield, Oh.

Our purpose is to the Worship of the Living God; to Disciple the "Saved"; to Evangelize the "Lost"; to Fellowship in the "Body of Christ" and to Serve God by Serving Mankind.

Our Statement of Faith...

Here is a "thumbnail" sketch of our beliefs.....

-  The Bible is the infallible, inspired, and only authoritative, Word of God.

-  The Godhead exists in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  The "Three-in-One".

-  Jesus is God manifested in human flesh.  He was born of a virgin, lead a sinless life,
   died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead after three days, and ascended to 
	 heaven to be at the right hand of God the Father.

-  Everyone is sinful...and needs The Saviour.

-  Sin is forgiven only by repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

-  Salvation is wholly of grace, but conditioned on repentance and faith.

-  The Holy Spirit indwells true believers, gives them power for service and holy living, 
   guides them in truth, produces the fruuit of Christian character and continues to perfect
	 and sanctify the body of believers.

-  The Church of Christ is made up of people who love and believe in the Lord Jesus.

-  Everyone needs to hear the gospel.

-  Jesus is coming again in power and glory.

The third week of August in the year of 1953 marked the beginning of a congregation later called Trinity Christian Union Church.

It all started with a few people who desired to form a fellowship after the order of the Christian Union. The first services were held in the Tabernacle on the Christian Union Camp Grounds in Greenfield, Ohio. There were 16 present the first day. Others became interested and the little group grew slowly but steadily.

The group did some renovation in the Tabernacle, installing portable partitions for Sunday School rooms. The congregation grew to over 100 people under these circumstances. In 1960 the group purchased 6 lots on a land contract expecting to build a church building of their own. Faith and love gifts along with much volunteer labor built the Trinity C.U. Church. It was first occupied in 1964.. and year by year the "up grades" continued.

A new multi purpose building was begun in August of 2001.. and dedicated November 28, 2002. There was a great amount of volunteer labor put into this building as well. It has been in use since that time for many different events. The Solid Rock Youth ministry meets here on Wednesdays... it used for Sunday School... fellowship events... ministry to grieving families of loved ones.. and various other activities.

Pastor Emeritus: Robert Chroninger Pastor Bob Serves the Trinity Christian Union Church as the Pastor Emeritus. He came to Trinity in August of 1994 and has seen many changes in the Church since that time. He graduated from The Fort Wayne Bible College (Now Taylor University) and has served in The Christian Union since 1954. He completed Masters and Doctoral programs at Dothan College and Seminary in Dothan, Alabama. After the death of his first wife, Margaret, he was remarried to Eleanor Smith who has served as the Trinity Church organist for a number of years. Together we seek to minister to the needs of people according to the Word of God. We have discovered over the years that God's Way is truly the best in all of life. We have both been through the "tough" times and know something of your needs, hurts and pains. We are here to help in any way we can... and help others to know the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior!
Senior Pastor: Daniel McCarty Daniel McCarty serves as the Senior Pastor here at Trinity Christian Union Church. He grew up in the "hills" of Adams County. His parents are members of the Beasly's Fork Christian Union Church... and that is where Daniel got his start. He received the Lord Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Later he committed his life to the Lord for ministry in any way that the Lord would lead. Pastor Daniel attended the Christian Union Bible College here in Greenfield, Ohio and then went on to the Circleville Bible College. He graduated from Circleville in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministry with an emphasis on counseling. He has served as the Associate Pastor since August 1, 2003 after serving on two mission teams that went to Mexico to serve during the summer. Daniel is a very dedicated young man with a heart for people... and works with the College Age young people on a regular basis. He is very "handy" with tools and is a great help at the church. At the present time he is administering the van ministry which is used to transport children and youth to various meetings. He has named it the "T-T-T" which stands for "Trinity's Transportation Team". He is here to serve the Lord and You. His declared objective is "to glorify God in every aspect of my life. To love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love others as myself."
